Join Driven Automotive and be part of a team where your potential meets opportunity. We are looking for a skilled Senior Automotive Technician to join our Rangiora workshop. As a Senior Automotive Technician, you will diagnose faults using modern diagnostic tools and determine the repairs required. You will service and repair vehicles, carrying out routine maintenance, wheel alignments, inspections and resolving mechanical and electrical issues. The role includes replacing and repairing parts such as engines, transmissions, brakes and other key components. You will keep accurate records of all work completed and communicate clearly with customers about vehicle issues, repair options and costs. You will follow safety standards to protect yourself, the team and our customers, and commit to continuous learning to stay up to date with emerging automotive technologies. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for the automotive industry and high-quality workmanship, hold a Trade Certified Automotive qualification, a current WoF issuing authority or be willing to obtain one and a full New Zealand driver’s licence. Automotive electrical skills or a strong desire to develop in this area are also important.
