We're looking for a full-time, permanent Automotive Technician to join a busy family business in Waiuku, with a quick start available. We need someone with a minimum of two years' experience post-apprenticeship, boasting varied experience and good references. While a Warrant of Fitness certification is a bonus, it's not essential. You'll need a clean police record, pass a drug test and hold a current driver's licence. Based in a super popular local business, you'll be reliable, competent and have proven accuracy and attention to detail. Everyone works hands-on, keeps paperwork updated and liaises with customers, so being a friendly team player is key. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with some Saturday mornings as workload requires. Waiuku is a vibrant town just 30 minutes from Papakura, with traffic often flowing in the opposite direction – a great bonus for your commute! Seeking a qualified mechanic/technician to join our team. WoF certified preferred but not required, as long as able and willing to get it.
We’re a small, close-knit team based in a busy, well-equipped rural workshop just 15 minutes south of Whangārei. We service a wide range of vehicles and farm equipment, so experience across different makes and models is a big plus. WOF authority is preferred, but if you’re eligible and willing to obtain it, that’s great too. Our work includes WoFs, general repairs, servicing, brakes, suspension, welding, air conditioning and electrical. You’ll need workshop experience, a problem-solving mindset and a strong focus on quality and customer service. A full, clean driver’s license is required and you must be a NZ resident, citizen, or hold a valid work visa. Qualifications are helpful but not essential proof of 5+ years’ full-time workshop experience is required. Key tasks include investigating and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, repairing or replacing worn or broken parts such as transmissions, suspension, steering and brakes, dismantling, repairing and reassembling vehicle components to ensure proper performance. You will also perform scheduled servicing, carry out repairs identified during WoF inspections to ensure vehicles meet warrantable standards and be capable of fitting and balancing tyres.

We work on all makes and models of motorcycle, Farm ATV and SSV, both road and off road and competition motorcycles and we are looking for an individual with previous experience in the motorcycle or automotive industry to come and join our team. We're seeking a skilled automotive technician to join our team in Taumarunui. You'll handle routine servicing, repairs, and essential Warrant of Fitness checks, so a current WoF inspector certificate is a must. We need someone with a Trade Certificate, National Certificate, or Level Four in Automotive Engineering, who understands health and safety and can use computerised systems. Strong English communication skills and a current driver's licence are vital. You'll be a team player but also capable of working independently. Our workshop performs a wide range of tasks on all vehicle makes and models, including scheduled servicing, brake, suspension, driveline, engine, and gearbox repairs, as well as tyre work and alignments. We offer flexible working hours, a minimum of 32 per week, with options for 8-hour or 10-hour days. There's no weekend, on-call, or after-hours work required. Pay ranges from $25 to $45 per hour based on skill and productivity.
