Buying MTA Products

Gift Card Changes

As of the 1 August 2025, the MTA Gift Card was retired and is no longer available for purchase. Please note this does not affect current cards in circulation. All cards currently activated will continue to have the remaining value redeemable for the period of expiry. Just remember they expire after 12 months, so keep track of the balance and expiry date.

The good news is there is no change to our popular MTA Gift Vouchers which will be available for all your gifting needs. Our vouchers will continue to be offered under a “No Expiry” policy but will have some visual changes in the near future to meet the requirements of the Fair Trading (Gift Card Expiry) Amendment Act 2024.

Please note: A standard $6.50 freight/insurance charge plus 2.5% processing fee applies to all purchases. Additional fees will apply for rural delivery.

It is important to note that purchasing gift products from the MTA Wellington office is no longer available. Please purchase online or at participating MTA members.

Processing Check

Due to an increase in fraudulent activity, fulfilment of online orders will incur a minimum three-day delay. Credits will not be issued within this period and transactions deemed as potentially fraudulent will be investigated, and if necessary, referred to NZ Police. We apologise for any inconvenience that this delay may cause.
