We’re seeking a qualified and experienced auto electrician to join our well-established team based in Kinleith, Central North Island. Specialising in commercial auto electrical services across forestry, industrial, agricultural and transport sectors. The role involves diagnostics, repairs, new fit-outs, fleet maintenance, air conditioning, ABS/EBS, emission systems and more. You’ll need to work both independently and collaboratively, with a proactive, can-do attitude. We offer competitive hourly pay including overtime rates - time and a quarter after eight hours on weekdays and time and a half on weekends - plus tool, travel and on-call allowances. Pay is negotiable based on experience and qualifications and a company vehicle may be provided. The role includes varied work across workshop, town and South Waikato sites, with ongoing training and support toward a Class 5 license if needed. To apply, you must reside in New Zealand and be eligible to work here, hold at least a Trade Certificate, National Certificate, or Level 4 qualification in Automotive Electrical Engineering and have a minimum of five years’ experience. Strong knowledge of automotive electronics, electrical theory, circuit diagrams and mechanical systems is essential.
