We are looking for an experienced mechanic! The ideal candidate would have: a general car and light commercial vehicle service & repair, light engineering and general knowledge of diesel and petrol cars, and light commercial vehicles, welding experience will be a plus, supply own basic tools to carry out duties required, maintain workshop in a clean and working order, excellent analytical skills, outstanding diagnostic ability and be a proven problem solver, excellent time management, be punctual and on time for required daily duties, ability to work well under pressure, ability to work unsupervised and be part of a team and have a good Health and Safety awareness Applicants should: be NZ Certified or Trade Certified, have full driver’s licence, WoF inspector would be a plus. AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN/MECHANIC

We are seeking to employ an experienced Automotive Technician. NZ Trade Qualification and WOF Authority preferred. Applicant must have a current NZ Drivers Licence – Class 1 and preferably Class 2. We are a rural workshop in Owhango, work is varied and interesting servicing a wide range of vehicles – light, 4WD and Heavy. We also carry out a roadside breakdown service. The successful applicant must have good communication & Diagnostic skills, be honest and reliable and have the ability to work unsupervised. You will need a good attitude with pride in your work and attention to detail. Renumeration is negotiable dependant on qualifications and experience.
