plastic2eco repurposing programme
MTA and CRA have launched a groundbreaking initiative - the plastic2eco re-purposing programme.
Since November 2022, MTA has been working on a viable closed loop solution to divert the over 100,000 bumpers that end up in landfill every year. The plastic2eco repurposing initiative is aimed at promoting sustainability and reducing landfill waste through the re-purposing of vehicle plastic parts.
Those who participate will help protect our precious NZ ecosystems and lower the carbon footprint from waste disposal and contribute to the New Zealand circular economy.
