Description

SB European is seeking a skilled Technician for a full-time permanent position or a minimum two-year contract, working Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm (42.5 hours per week). In this role, you will be expected to perform accurate diagnostic assessments using both electronic tools and your own natural senses to "think outside the box" and complete repairs to the highest standards of quality and safety. We offer a competitive hourly rate and show our appreciation through various monetary means when traditional bonuses aren't possible. The ideal candidate is personable, open to feedback and genuinely passionate about the automotive industry. To be successful, you must have two to five years of proven experience in the lightweight automotive industry, specifically working on European cars; while experience with VW, Audi and Skoda is an advantage, it is not essential. You need to be able to demonstrate use of diagnostic skills and critical thinking as well as strong computer skills, a "can do" attitude and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Applicants must hold a valid New Zealand driver's license with at least two years of driving experience and must currently be in the country with New Zealand citizenship, residency or a valid two-year work visa.
