We are looking for a skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as an Authorised WoF Vehicle Inspector. The ideal candidate will hold a New Zealand National Certificate in Automotive Engineering and have a minimum of five years’ post-qualification workshop experience. A full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence is essential, along with proven competence in Scantool diagnostics. We value a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail, as well as excellent customer service and a positive, can-do attitude. Strong communication and time management skills are important, as is a high level of personal presentation and professionalism. We’re looking for a true team player who brings good energy to the workplace, is trustworthy, hardworking and demonstrates integrity in everything they do. We handle a wide range of mechanical work, including servicing cars, light commercial vehicles and trailers. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in the industry and be committed to getting the job done right the first time. While WoF authority is preferred, it is not essential, and we are willing to support the right applicant through the WoF Inspectors Course. Applicants must hold a current full New Zealand driver’s license or an equivalent, possess strong attention to detail and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, as answering phones and booking jobs is part of the role. Great customer service and basic computer skills are also essential. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and either a New Zealand resident or holds a valid NZ work visa.
