Description

We're looking for a full-time, permanent Automotive Technician to join a busy workshop team in Te Puke, with a quick start available. We need someone with a minimum of two years' experience post-apprenticeship, boasting varied experience and good references. While a Warrant of Fitness certification is a bonus, it's not essential. Having a current driver's licence is a must. We are based in a super popular area in te Bay Of Plenty we are a popular local business, The applicant will need too be reliable, competent and have proven accuracy and attention to detail, being a friendly team player is key. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Te Puke is a vibrant town just 30 minutes from Tauranga, Rotorua and Whakatane. We handle a wide range of mechanical work, including servicing cars, light commercial vehicles and trailers. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in the industry and be committed to getting the job done right the first time. While WoF authority is preferred, it is not essential, and we are willing to support the right applicant through the WoF Inspectors Course. Applicants must hold a current full New Zealand driver’s license or an equivalent, possess strong attention to detail and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, as answering phones and booking jobs is part of the role. Great customer service and basic computer skills are also essential. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and either a New Zealand resident or holds a valid NZ work visa.
