We handle a wide range of mechanical work, including servicing cars, light commercial vehicles and trailers. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in the industry and be committed to getting the job done right the first time. While WoF authority is preferred, it is not essential, and we are willing to support the right applicant through the WoF Inspectors Course. Applicants must hold a current full New Zealand driver’s license or an equivalent, possess strong attention to detail and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, as answering phones and booking jobs is part of the role. Great customer service and basic computer skills are also essential. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and either a New Zealand resident or holds a valid NZ work visa. We handle a wide variety of vehicles, equipment, and marine craft of all ages, so broad experience is a big plus. Ideally, you'll have your WOF authority or be willing and eligible to get it. You'll need at least five years' full-time automotive workshop experience, a full, clean driving licence, and the right to work in New Zealand. We're looking for someone who enjoys a challenge, is great at problem-solving, customer-focused, and committed to high-quality work. Day-to-day tasks involve diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults, replacing parts, performing scheduled servicing and attending breakdown callouts.
