Our busy, well-equipped rural workshop needs a skilled mechanic to join our small, friendly team. We handle a wide variety of vehicles, equipment, and marine craft of all ages, so broad experience is a big plus. Ideally, you'll have your WOF authority or be willing and eligible to get it. You'll need at least five years' full-time automotive workshop experience, a full, clean driving licence, and the right to work in New Zealand. We're looking for someone who enjoys a challenge, is great at problem-solving, customer-focused, and committed to high-quality work. Day-to-day tasks involve diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults, replacing parts, performing scheduled servicing and attending breakdown callouts. In return, we offer a supportive work environment, professional development, social activities and a competitive hourly rate of $28 - $34, for a minimum of 30 hours per week.
