Description
We’re a small, close-knit team based in a busy, well-equipped rural workshop just 15 minutes south of Whangārei. We service a wide range of vehicles and farm equipment, so experience across different makes and models is a big plus. WOF authority is preferred, but if you’re eligible and willing to obtain it, that’s great too. Our work includes WoFs, general repairs, servicing, brakes, suspension, welding, air conditioning and electrical. You’ll need workshop experience, a problem-solving mindset and a strong focus on quality and customer service. A full, clean driver’s license is required and you must be a NZ resident, citizen, or hold a valid work visa. Qualifications are helpful but not essential proof of 5+ years’ full-time workshop experience is required. Key tasks include investigating and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, repairing or replacing worn or broken parts such as transmissions, suspension, steering and brakes, dismantling, repairing and reassembling vehicle components to ensure proper performance. You will also perform scheduled servicing, carry out repairs identified during WoF inspections to ensure vehicles meet warrantable standards and be capable of fitting and balancing tyres.
