Description

We're seeking a skilled automotive technician to join our team in Taumarunui. You'll handle routine servicing, repairs, and essential Warrant of Fitness checks, so a current WoF inspector certificate is a must. We need someone with a Trade Certificate, National Certificate, or Level Four in Automotive Engineering, who understands health and safety and can use computerised systems. Strong English communication skills and a current driver's licence are vital. You'll be a team player but also capable of working independently. Our workshop performs a wide range of tasks on all vehicle makes and models, including scheduled servicing, brake, suspension, driveline, engine, and gearbox repairs, as well as tyre work and alignments. We offer flexible working hours, a minimum of 32 per week, with options for 8-hour or 10-hour days. There's no weekend, on-call, or after-hours work required. Pay ranges from $25 to $45 per hour based on skill and productivity.
