Garry’s Garage 2022 ltd, Tokoroa is looking for a WoF Inspector. The ideal candidate would have: general car and light commercial vehicle service & repair, light engineering and general knowledge of diesel and petrol cars and light commercial vehicles, to supply own basic tools to carry out duties required, maintain workshop in a clean and working order, have diagnostic ability and be a proven problem solver, the ability to work well under pressure and work unsupervised and be part of a team. Applicants should have NZ Certified or Trade Certified. A full driver’s licence is essential. Applicants for this position should have NZ residency.

The Rural Mechanic is a rural workshop, based in Waikite Valley and Central to both Taupo and Rotorua. Business hours are Hours are 8 am-5 pm, Monday to Friday. We are a family inclusive and friendly team and are happy to negotiate hours to suit family commitments. We are looking for a qualified mechanic and/or a qualified vehicle technician (AVI). Diagnosing mechanical faults, performing vehicle and machinery repairs and performing scheduled maintenance. You must have at least 3 years of experience in the automotive industry or hold a relevant qualification. An Authorized Vehicle Inspector (AVI) qualification would be an advantage but not essential. A full Class 1 driver's license is essential. Own tools must be provided (Tool Allowance provided). A good work ethic and a positive attitude are required. Excellent communication skills are a MUST, Full-time and part-time positions are available. Must have New Zealand Residency.
