Our free Mediation Service helps you and your customers resolve disputes in a friendly, efficient and unbiased way. The unique service provides a useful step between the customer and statutory agencies so you can concentrate on your business, confident that both parties will be assisted by a neutral mediator to reach a solution. Members are increasingly using this service as an information resource, to help manage disputes and to help prepare for any tribunal hearings.

Over the years, our advocacy work has stimulated discussion and increased influence with stakeholders, Government and regulators to position ourselves as leaders in the automotive industry. We advocate on your behalf – making sense of legislation and regulations that affect you and voice your views to Government while laws are in the drafting stage. We have a high profile in the media and we are often approached for comment on a range of industry issues.

As an Incorporated Society, we are governed by a set of Rules. These rules are supported by Bylaws, and Policies. Policies are supported by MTA Delegated Authorities.
