This is a busy, hands on role. The ability to multi-task and communicate effectively is a must. Hours/days are negotiable. Our ideal candidate will need to be/have: competent technician with sound mechanical knowledge and qualifications, a high standard of workmanship with a "do it right the first time" attitude, WoF authority (not essential but an advantage), hold a current (clean) NZ driver's licence. We are seeking to fill a parts assistant position available in the parts department of our multi franchise dealership. You will be involved in the selection, advising and ordering of parts and accessories, over both the workshop and customer counter as well as handling phone enquiries from our key customers. Ideally you will have extensive knowledge of motor vehicles, and or previous parts experience. As you will be working with both retail and trade customers, you must have great customer service skills and an excellent telephone manner. You will also need to have a good work ethic with an eye for attention to detail, and be able to offer excellent customer service. This is a full time position of 40 hours per week, between the hours of Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5.30pm. All applicants must have a clean current NZ Drivers licence and have the right to work in NZ.
