Still connected by MTA.

There was a lot to catch up on when around 30 former Hamilton MTA members and their partners met for a reunion recently.

The event was organised by former Hamilton Branch President, Scott Macdonald. Attendees included former MTA Chief Executive Stephen Matthews, the current Chief Executive Craig Pomare, and eight former branch presidents (refer photo above).

Scott says, “The branch has always been really sociable and it has hosted some great trade nights as well as the regular WoF courses.”

The event was held at the Campus Club, at the Ruakura Research Centre. Scott’s business, Research Motors, is also on the campus and is now owned by his two sons Brook and Darby.

“MTA still hosts the WoF courses at the Club,” says Scott.

Noel McMillan and former Region Chair and current MTA Board member Andrea Andrew also attended the event, but unfortunately, the former Chair and current MTA President Dave Harris had other commitments on the day.
