Motorcycle Technician

Join our team at Blackwood Yamaha in Waikato! We work on all motorcycle types, Farm ATVs, SSVs and competition bikes. We're seeking someone with motorcycle or automotive industry experience. If you're motivated, can work both independently and as part of a team, we want you. Our hours are Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5PM, with rostered Saturday mornings. You should have strong motorcycle mechanics and electronics knowledge, diagnostic tool proficiency, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality. Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential. A full NZ Driver’s Licence and Motorcycle class 6 Licence (or willingness to obtain one) are required. As a Toyota Service Centre and an authorised Yamaha ATV service provider, we are also part of the Auto Super Shoppe network. Our services include automotive repairs, auto-electrical work, air conditioning and tyres. We even have a service callout truck for on-farm jobs. We are looking for a qualified automotive technician for a full-time, permanent position. The area offers plenty of hunting, fishing, and beautiful beaches.
Heavy Diesel Automotive Technician

We are looking for a qualified or nearly qualified heavy diesel automotive technician with the following qualities: Have a broad range of knowledge with servicing and repairs to most heavy vehicles, be able to complete tasks to a high standard in a timely manner, be confident with a scan tool or be open to learning, have a solid work ethic, reliable and punctual, be self motivated and the ability to work unsupervised. You will need a full drivers license including Classes 2-5 or the ability to gain them.
