Some of the financial benefits that MTA has been able to negotiate for members also generates revenue for MTA, by way of commission from the benefit provider. 

This commission is used to assist members in a number of ways including the ongoing development of additional member benefits, keeping subscription fees at a reasonable level as well as providing support through a wide range of services.
